I have that DVD set as well.  When it first aired, I was working nights, so I didn't get to see it.  I did get to see the sequel to it a couple of years later.  I can't wait for that to be released on DVD.

I watched the mini-series and the t.v. series. The rebels were anti-government and anti-police and would not be welcome here.

V actually has a pretty big cult following all over the net. If you do a search on one of the serch engines you will find a alot of info. There is even a web ring. A few years ago they had a convention and some of the actors came. I wanted to go since I loved the show. I bought the original mini series as well as the "The Final BAttle" on Ebay. Once in awhile you can even find all 19 episodes of the show on ebay on VHS. I watched it to when I was a kid but did not catch the story line of them being like the Nazi's until I got the tapes and watched them again. I hope some day to get all 19 episodes on tape. I use "V the series" when searching for the tapes and info on the web. There is even a campaign to try a bring it back.

Ya I remember.  It was one of my favorite shows back then.  They had some movies and then a brief series.

Michael Ironside as Ham Tyler and his Mac 10 if I remember correctly. [:D]

Ham Tyler was a bad ass lizard blasting mofo!

Guess it's time to retire my old VHS copy and obtain the DVD!

Jane Badler ( Diana ) was a hottie![:P]

How many hours is this DVD?  Hey!...just read that the DVD does not contain "The Final Battle".

I the first episode of V, when they are on top of a skyscraper greeting the aliens. Listen very closely to the tuba player in the marching band.... this has to go down as one of the most out of tune public performances of all time. I think they just handed the guy a tuba and said blow....
Just a stupid observation

I saw the mini-series, the follow up show, and read the books.

The mini-series and books were good but the show sucked.

My favorite character was the CIA guy played by Michael Ironsides.
