It seems like most rebates these days are by prepaid debit cards.  But where the heck can you use a $11 debit card to get every last penny out of it?
I can't recall a website that allows you to bill multiple cards with specific amounts charged per card.

We got $100 in rebate cards from Verizon a couple years ago. We transferred the balance right into our checking account with no fees. Im not sufe if all of them do that.

All of the rebate cards that I've used will do what's called a partial authorization at a big box store.  So, you go and spend $18.53.  You swipe the rebate card with $11.03 on it.  The $11.03 is taken off the card and you provide another payment for the $7.50.

The card i got recently was a debit, but the instruction said to swipe it as a CREDIT transaction..  And not to use it for 'pay at the pump', but to go inside

You can use it to pay for anywhere MC/Visa is accepted as long as the purchase price is not greater than the card value/limit.

I use them on groceries or gas.  Most places will let you spend the balance of the rebate card and make up the rest with a credit card or cash.

It was kind of a pain in the ass, but I had to register the card online and then it let me throw it right into my bank account.
