Quoted: considered suspicous? just askin' We tend to judge more by spelling than post count. |

More of a time on the board and quality of posts thing, rather than a simple number of posts.

You'll probably experience 6 or 7 drawdown situations until you hit 1,000 posts. After that, you'll become much safer. Then you'll post a couple of dinner pics. Get a couple of locked threads...post your wife in BOTD....then,...then.... you'll still be a DU troll. |

With each gun related number, your street cred rises. 45, 223, 308, 556, and so on.

From what I've seen it depends on member status and join date having TX in the avatar box helps some also. I'd say with no team member status, no TX and join date less than two years ago you're looking at around ten grand. Get the team membership and you're good at around a hundred.

Quoted: considered suspicous? just askin' I would think you should be more concerned about seeming familiar. |

Your good to go. Lot's of old join dates get smacked for not following the rules of the EE. It's one place where the rules are not subjective or arbitrarily enforced, as a it should be. |

Quality over Quantity IMO. If you start threads about controversial topics and you have been here a month, thats suspicious.
Heck, there are guys here for 10+ years without 100 posts. |

It is a combination of post count, years, team membership, and spelling.

I'll let you know when I get there. I think there is an IM that goes out from Site Staff that says you are GTG

Quality > Quantity
That being said, join date counts for something too. Occasionally there are some newbies that contribute useful information or tell interesting stories. Most of the time, it's draw downs at the car wash and other silly stories. |

It's not the post count, it's the $25 avatar Wait, avatars are only $25?!??! Daayyym, I overpaid. |
|
I made a spelling mistake.... I guess I'll have to buy a team membership or resign myself to a big dose or "read more, post less" |
|
Sorry, Dude, but it's based on JOIN DATE.
You will be a noob until everyone who joined before you is DEAD. |
