Everyone I know with a Droid on Verizon got an update a month ago or so and the service has sucked ever since.   i was talking m to my Realtor tonight and he is switching to AT&T because of the drop in coverage and he says it has to with verizon selling a bunch of Alltel towers to AT&T, he doesn't have a smart phone yet but his coverage started to suck around the same time.

My old Razor just took a dump on me, but it is the phone not the service. I now have to upgrade.  Was thinking of going AT&T.

On PagePlus, which uses VZW's network, no problems here.

Nope...love my Droid X...

I did do an accidental "wipe" on Wednesday from my remote exchange server...
Kind of nice accually. Saved all my SD data but put the phone back to factory + 2.2...
I think I'll do this yearly...Keep things fresh...

Yesterday my sister and I had some weird loss of signal after we left my nephew's pediatrician.  Only after we drove about 2 miles did our signal improve.  We both have the Droid Eris.

Not sure if this could have anything to do with it, but they're tinkering with things right now to get their 4G up.

Verizon coverage is horrible. I live in the city and am lucky to get one bar at home, yet I can head out to my favorite campsite out in the middle of nowhere and get three bars.

I'll be switching as soon as my contract is up.

their service is as sketchy as anyone else's, they just charge a premium to pay for the advertisements that say it isn't.
