I have used CARFAX every time I have purchased a used vehicle for as long as I can remember looking on the internet for cars.

Sometime recently, they increased their prices, and lowered their product offering.

I used to do the 30 day unlimited cars thing for about $40

It was a fair deal, imo.  They get $40 of my auto car purchase, and I get info.  When I buy, I quit looking at carfax, regardless if I used it 4 days, or 24 days.

Now, it's $35 for 1 look up

or

$45 for 5 (yes 5 whole lookups)

So, I will no longer be using them.

I did send them an email telling them why,

So, heads up.

Unsure if you're aware, but not everything that is done
to a vehicle is on carfax.
I've had everything done to my truck over 12 years and
the only thing listed is the gem module which was done
at a dealership.  Everything else was done at a Firestone
shop but nothing listed.
A car can be in a flood, fire, wreck..etc... and not be on carfax.
It's the biggest rip off out there and people flock to it.
