The head of security for Bostons Logan International Airport, Mr. Rafi Ron has decided that Airport security personnel need to basically profile passengers to catch terrorists.  He says it is not based on ethnicity but on other unnamed factors.

Just what these other factors are he will not say, but it is kind of intimidating to think I may be pegged as a terrorist just because they determined I did something that the powers that be deemed to be unusual. What will they do next,  lead me away to be inTERRORgated,  humiliated, full body searched?  Might they have the FBI follow me home from the airport and place around-the-clock surveilance on me?   Or am I just blowing it all out of proportion....

Anything is possible.  However in that environment I dont think it would work well.  To get an accurate psychological profile you need alot of individual background info.  Put simply, no 8 hour class is gonna turn rent-a-cops into mind readers.

It sounds to me like they will be using vague stereotypes, i.e. race, age, and such.  Why else would their factors remain unnamed, its not to so the terrorists won't change their secret handshake.
