The Washington Post.
Should gun stores be held responsible for crimes committed with weapons that they have sold? http://views.washingtonpost.com/post-user-polls/2010/10/are-gun-stores-responsible-for-crime.html
Don't you think you ought to go to this link and let the fine people of The Washington Post know what you think? Right now it's fiddy-fiddy. C_M |

The Washington Post.
If you don't get it, you're probably living a life free of delusion. _MaH |

Yes. They are responsible for my wife beating me every time I come home from one with something.
|
|
No, but I've seen my local gunstore sell to some obvious thugs. They don't discriminate as long as you have cash and can pass the background check. Even if you and your homies are standing around talking about busting a cap in some person of color who looked at you wrong.
I don't shop there anymore. |

There is no use arguing about these issues to folks who have to ask these questions. If they don't get it by now, you're argument will mean nothing to them. If they did get it, they wouldn't be asking these retarded questions.

should Chevy dealerships be responsible for drunk driving accidents?
|

Quoted:
Just like vaginas are responsible for rape And Supermarkets are responsible for fat people. |
|
Blame Walmart because they sold matches to a guy that likes to set fires?
Blame Home Depot because they sold a gang banger a can of spray paint that likes to express his inner artistic homie on coal cars? Blame Liquor stores for selling a bottle of vodka to a college kid that enjoys driving a little buzzed? People make choices. Not matches, spray paint and bottles of vodka. |
|
Should fork manufacturers be responsible for every fat ass in the nation? No.
Should the public school system be responsible for all the idiots in the US right now? Quite possibly, yes. |
|
Is McDonald's Happy Meal responsible for fat kids?
I can't believe the poll is 50/50 |
|
Should we hold the car dealer who originally sold the get away vehicle responsible as well?
|
|
Let's get to the root of the problem, shall we?
Poll: Is the FBI responsible for crime? Yes No After all, don't they handle NICS, as mandated by the Brady Bill of 1993? Isn't every legitimate gun sale checked and verified by them? Sue the FBI, I say. |

Quoted:
Are gas stations responsible for arson? Some good comments below the poll tearing the Post a new one. |

you need to run a voting bot like the DU uses on these polls

In Florida, the background check is handled by FDLE, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Also, FTF sales count as "legitimate", and those don't require a background check here beyond you asking "are you a Florida resident, and are you allowed to own a gun?". |

Should Paper Mills, Printing Press Manufacturers, and Al Gore (The inventor of the Internet) be held responsible for the lies and dis-information being spread by the Washington Post and other dinosaur media?
I'd be offended if I cared at all that these people (The MSM) think they are better than the average American! Posted by: bogus7145 | October 25, 2010 11:16 PM Not me, but I wish it was... |

No more than grocery stores are responsible for making people fat.
