April 19 —  The house on Donnefield Drive on the east side of Charlotte, N.C., is pleasant enough from the outside. With azalea bushes blooming in the front yard of the blue-slate, two-story structure and American flags flying from homes up and down the street, it looks like just another home on just another quiet suburban block. But for five years, a group of men who grew up in South Beirut, Lebanon, met in the house to praise and organize support for Hizbullah, the Mideast terror outfit, according to federal prosecutors.

THE MEN SECRETLY cooked up phony marriages to evade immigration laws and then used a cigarette-smuggling operation and credit-card fraud to feed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Hizbullah operatives back in Lebanon, the government contends.

Because they can't make money in their own countries.  Imagine the "Sand Station" where one could buy as much authentic arabian sand as one could carry home!

That's something to think about the next time some lame assed state (like my own) decides to use smokers as a scape goat to raise taxes.
