Do you think that it is a mistake? The add says that the items are in exellent shape and less than a year old.

Assuming he's referring to an AR15, and isn't talking about a very rare early '60s Kalifornia Armalite, then he's FOS.
The current Armalite (Genesco, Ill) did not exist until after the '94 ban was in effect. There are no "pre-ban" Armalites. There *were* pre-ban Eagle Arms, but not Armalites. -Troy |

Again most highpower shooters I have talked to say equate eagles/armalites, pwa/rock rivers, etc. Looks like it was an eagle, case of mistaken ID. SRM |

It is indeed a preban Eagle Arms he's selling. Used as a spare DCM rifle with less than 500 rds through it. I'm in negotiations with the seller now. He states its in near perfect condition and he's willing to do a 3 day inspection on it. He's waiting on my answer. What do you all think? I'm leaning towards going for it....
