Lots of $. After my recent addiction to guns and ammo, I've sworn off new vehicles. My next purchase will be 2+ years old. Should save me some money.
Damn nice truck. Enjoy the gas mileage. You'd have no mileage if you had bought the V10. |

Nice truck, but sounds kinda high in price. I just got a 2002 chevy silverado 1500extended cab long bed with all the options for $28,000 with 0% financing

Seems high to me too. I bought an '01 F-350XLT 4x4 diesel w/automatic tranny for $32K. The diesel and auto tranny alone were worth nearly $6K in options.
Glad you are like your new truck and hope you enjoy it for years to come. |

I actually paid $28 and change for the truck but I added in the cost of financing, a few dealer installed options I bought (like the bedliner, push bar/brush guard, window etching and lojack plus a couple of others) to come to the $34+ price. Oh yeah, I have 3 years of scheduled maintenance included as well... I am confident I did a great deal on the truck, I have leased or purchased 8 vehicles from the same dealer so I called in my favor with them on this one. Thanks everyone for the compliments!! I'll have to post a few pics of it at the range with the black rifles... |

Too bad I can't get a 0% loan for $34,000 worth of ammo. Now THAT would be a deal! Might last a year or two :-)Both I and Eric the ammoman would be very very happy.

Great lookin' truck! [8D] That big 4x4 kicks butt.
You can carry lots of neat stuff in it too... -rifles -ammo -gun bags -coolers -more ammo -folding chairs -lunch stuff -more ammo -spotting scopes -pistols -more ammo -shotguns -prone position lay-down pad -more ammo -firearms cleaning stuff -dead things after the hunt! (Don't forget to wash it well afterwords though...BAD karma to leave lots of nasties in the truck bed for the missus to find [shock] when she's on her way somewhere. [puke] Eeeeeeeeuuuuwwww!!!)[BD] Did I say ammo? [;D] |

A little high?? That seems WAY HIGH. It is a very nice truck but compared to what I have seen elsewhere you may have payed anywhere from $2k to $6k to much! There are several dealers online that you can find by going to many of the larger car/truck sites that sell for a set ammount over invoice and can arrange delivery to your local dealer for about $100 extra.
There is a dodge dealer in NM that sells ALL models for $140 over invoice through their fleet sales dept and for $100 had my local dealer take delivery. It will save me over $5k in over all prive for the truck and options I want! Bryan |
