too busy....
ETA: some of the images are cool and subtle, but there's just too much going on in that paint. |
while I respect the talent that custom paint job takes, Holy fuck that is very visually busy design.
eta: It appears that the pictures seem to move chronologically from the passenger quarter panel around the front, and then over to the driver quarter panel. |
I appreciate the skill it took to do that.
Everything else including GM can suck dicks. |
There are many, many great images on that car. Overall though, it's a bit of a train wreck. Just too much going on. If it were mostly black with the US Flag, and just one part honouring veterans, that would look better. |

Busy paint job is busy.
Really nice work, but hurts to look at. |

Looks like the Smithsonian puked on it. I think one powerful image is better then a zoo of smaller images. Plus. The Camaro is an Australian design, made in Canada. That is about as American as Mango Chutney. |
Wow, that's alot of effort. Did Obama sign the glove box a la Carrol Shelby?
All that tribute to the greatest Capilalist Nation on Earth, all on a vehicle made by the Government with taxpayers money.
that art can only can be appreciate if your 5 feet away from it, otherwise looks like a clusterfuck

Built with Government Motors bailout dollars
I would have preferred to see the artist put their efforts and hard work onto something like a Mustang or another car that wasn't built with tax dollars forcibly taxen from several future generations after mine. |
I like it, but to bad its not on a mustang and not a Government Motors car.
ETA: Beat by 10 seconds. |

I wish it had been done monochromatic. It's already busy. Staying with one color variant would have helped.
I wish they would have painted "American Pride" on an American Car.

that car sucks obamas dick,,,,, buy a mustang that is faster, quiter, and all around better

You wouldn't have to worry about scratching it.
Just Lincoln being on there is bound to get you keyed at some point. |
Cheesy as fuck, like Lee Greenwood in car forum (I r retarded) form. Plus it's probably 50% foreign parts anyway.

The theme is admirable....
The execution is garish, tacky, utterly atrocious. |
Quoted:
How many billions did that cost us? No kidding. I wonder how many union golden parachute retirement plans we paid Union Motors to build that. The artwork's admirable theme is undercut by the communist organization that built the canvas. To steal a line from the president, it's like lipstick on a pig. |
The skill it took to do that is amazing, but it is too busy and on a government motors car.

Quoted: The skill it took to do that is amazing, but it is too busy and on a government motors car. Serious talent there, but as much skill the artist possesses in airbrushing portraits, he lacks in composition. |

Quoted:
Don't see any blacks on there. Racist car. Black soldiers in the fourth picture. Colin Powell in the seventh. ETA: And I assume the artist copied Washington Crossing the Delaware accurately, which would put Prince Whipple on there as well. Can't quite see him in the last picture. |
too bad it is made by a commie government run union supported company like GM

Each image is really well done and interesting but over all the car just looks way too busy. I think they should have picked a theme and gone with that over all. Instead of trying to cram the history on the US on it. |
The car is 100% made in Canada by UAW socialists.
Only the paint is symbolic of America... |

There is no bailout check airbrushed in the scheme. YOU BASTARD I swallowed my dip |
