I am wondering because they reallydo not look all that different. What makes the CTR more expensive?

CTR has the friction lock, MOE does not.

CTR has a locking mechanism. MOE is the same as your standard m4 stock and has a little play in it.

the CTR has a locking lever that makes the stock fit solid as a rock, no wobble or slack that regular adjustable stocks have

like a slight wobble with a 6 position

the MOE is pretty much a CTR with no locking device, so it might have a slight wobble like a regular 6 position stock

CTR will not pull whiskers out of your beard

Doesn't the CTR also have some storage space?

I have an MOE and I like it.  There's not much slop.  It's nothing like the M4 stock.
