An editorial in the Washington Post complains about "straw" buyers buying guns in the states that border Mexico and then shipping those guns across the border to Mexico. Why can't the ATF go after the straw buyer if these guns are traced back to a dealer in the States.
It seems to me that if this is really going on the ATF has the tools to stop it. Does anyone have an explanation??

Yeah.

They have to keep harping on any problems within the system, while not enforcing current laws (so the problems continue) so they can justify harsher laws.

Fuck tinfoil suggestions, the government is out of control, and they're grabbing all the power they can with both hands.

In a completely unrelated story the WaPo also reported on a CBP agent getting a 20 year sentence for taking cartel bribes to look the other way at a border checkpoint.

Can we send them a copy of LunchBucket Joe Biden's ABSCAM tapes?
