12 Places To Go If The World Goes To Hell

           Joe Weisenthal and
       John Carney

War, oil shortages, global warming, nuclear bombs, and economic
collapse... All of it seems unlikely, but don't you want to be prepared?
If you have to jump on a plane (or a boat or a train or a hot air
balloon) and head for safety, you want to know where in the world you
should go.

We've selected places that we expect will remain fortresses of
stability, safety, and prosperity no matter what the world throws at it.

I really wish they didn't have Denver in the story.

Too many liberal fools here as-is.  The last thing we need is an influx of people who can't stand their ground or take responsibility for their survival (i.e. Democrats).

GUAM?

...because of it's large US Military presence.

If the world goes to hell...you do NOT want to be by ANY large military presence...'cuz they are NOT gonna be getting paid.

or after a couple weeks when the food runs out, or the coal for electricity, or the water plant. That island is totally dependent on outside supplies for survival.

Guam would be chocked full of zombies

It's a clever ruse to eliminate those "undesireables" who will follow it when the SHTF.

Yeah, venture up to Yukon, you'll be fine... *snicker*. Cold? No, it's nice up there...  Have fun!

I need to write the Governor of Wyoming to see about putting retractable spike strips on all roads leading into Wyoming...especially I-25.

Cape Town and Rio are practically warzones aren't they?

Isn't Guam pretty much Asia's toilet with USMil base in the middle of it?

Indonesia is currently having Muslim versus everyone else conflicts right now IIRC?

Isn't Denver the back-up/fallback capitol?

The list leaves a lot to be desired.

Depends on why the world is going to hell, if Yellowstone pops Wyoming will cease to exist.

As long as it keeps liberals and Coloradans out, I prefer that option.

So, when TSHF you should head for an excessively populated city? You know, one that has at most 3 days worth of food and water on hand for not even a third of the population? This article = FAIL of the highest order

Since I am not sheeple I have no desire to live anywhere near a populated area because if the SHTF you are going to have problems, were it to happen I am calling into work and telling them to FOAD  and then I plan to SIP. looters and rioters would have to travel a long way to my home. I have everything I need here for long term survival.

It will be especially shitty after you've been under siege for about three months, living on rats and sawdust bread and sometimes each other. At least it won't be dark when the pyres for the dead light up the sky. It'll be kinda medieval.
