Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Portable dvd players. Is this a good one?

I know nothing about these things & dont want to buy a pos. Right now Im looking at this one http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Blu_Ray_DVD_DVR/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A3669489 thanks for any help, or opinions on these.

Sony products in general work very well, although I have not used the specific product you mentioned. I would assume it would be well worth the money.

In the past I use to never recommend any of them because you could pay a little more and get a cheap laptop that came with a bigger screen and had other uses. With where the price of portable dvd players has gone though you can't really do that anymore.

The sony ones generally are pretty good. Can't speak for that model though.
