The media did a hell of a job burying his past but even they couldn't transform Obama into someone who grew up in poverty and clawed his way out of it. He may not have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth but enough people came along soon enough to put one there.

IIRC his wife's salary was tripled after he was elected Senator for no other reason. They are the privileged people democrats and "social justice" seekers rail about.

Besides, I am pretty sure there isn't any timber in Kenya worth actually splitting for fences.

And fences imply individual ownership of the land and the livestock. Pretty much the opposite of the Dream of His Father.
