I am a smoker,

I have recently moved back into the home with my father due to my mother passing away. I am there to help him out anyways he does not smoke.

I want to be able to smoke in my bedroom and not smell up the other part of the house, does anyone know or use an air purifier that will help with the odor.

Any help would be great.

you can just stop smoking.  Use the money for nicotine patches

Not a smoker, but I recommend the Honeywell HEPA air purifiers.  They are very well made and can really cycle the air in the room.  I have the 50250 HEPA filter and it has performed very well.

Before I quit I tried HEPA filters and a few others, the only thing that kept the smell out of the rest of the house was a window fan set on exhaust.

ETA: I had one similar to this:
