I figure its prob the best time of the year to buy a gas grill.

I would imagine there are some amazing deals out there, given its a recession.

Looking for a deal on a built-in/drop-in grill myself. Those things are priced outrageously.
Can't afford a Viking. Any recomendations? Are Cal Flame any good?

Build one. The hoses, fittings, and burners are cheap. You can make a brick BBQ pit with a rotisserie and a chimney. You can pull the burners out and use it with wood and charcoal if you want.

Bingo!  I refurbed my old Weber 3 burner (all new guts) under $150.  You can find decent ones on Craigslist for $50 and some just throw them away  As long as the manifold and tub are okay you are GTG.

Buy a gas Weber and use it for the next 25 years.  Money well spent.

It may be the end of barbecue season in NH, but it's still going full-tilt here in TX!

NOBODY's discounting 'em around here yet. The deals don't start to appear until well after Halloween.
