I need some help.  I can't access the internet without bypassing my wireless router.

After talking to Comcast, it appears that my router is causing an invalid IP address error.  Once this happens I have to bypass the router, connect directly to my modem, and reset the modem to reset the IP address.

Any thoughts?

UPDATE

It may be a signal issue with Comcast since it happened again without the wireless router.  After removing a spliter on the line the singal strength to the modem is still low.  Comcast was been working in the neighborhood the past few weeks and even ran some new lines between nodes.
