What is the xbox controller being used for? EOD robot?

Just a guess: this is the controller for an unmanned aerial/ground vehicle?
It would make sense to use a PS2 or XBox controller since many enlisted soldiers, marines, airmen and sailors grew up playing video games and would be familiar with its use. |

I always thought that UAV's and the like were operated at far more remote locations. As far as a ground based robot I guess that would make sense. |
