Guard bumped to part-time over peephole incident

"William Raymer, 56, was suspended without pay Aug. 31 by Sheriff George David after he learned that Raymer knew about the peephole in a courthouse restroom but did not report it and took other people into an adjoining electrical closet to see the hole. "

"A Beaver County Courthouse guard who was suspended after failing to report a restroom peephole will become a part-time county jail guard, county solicitor Myron Sainovich said Thursday."

Sainovich said Raymer [span style='font-weight: bold;']will retain his seniority and other benefits. While Raymer will take a pay cut to $10 an hour, Sainovich said there are opportunities for overtime at the jail.
