Don't know if the shark was the cause of death or just found the deceased and made a meal of it. I'm leaning towards the latter given the size.

eta: Source didn't indicate the story on this one, but a little surfing leads me to believe it might be from this incident, although I didn't think this was a 12' tiger.

Someone should start a restaurant and make partially digested human remains some sort of delicacy.

It would be killer.

Shark stomach acid = powerful stuff. Its been known to consume metal. I don't think that poor soul was in there long.

Was on the radio the other day. Guy was fishing and landed this shark, shark regurgitated a human hand when they fisherman had it. He kept the shark and dropped it off with the local authorities.

Probably already dead.  That's a lot of body parts.  Most shark attacks are of the "quick bite and run" variety.

ETA: Looks like a tattoo around the ankle.  Pretty fresh body  IMO.

This is a little one, but before the sandbars migrated a few hurricanes back, we used to catch 5-6ft blacktips and sands out of the surf all day long. Good eating

Stingrays too, some as big as the hood of a truck...

Yeah I grill lemon shark from time to time, it is good. I prefer the food chain to work in that order.

Could be, figure about 18" for the size of the forearm in the pic, roughly 4 forearm lengths of shark in the picture, and only half the shark showing. Head shape and color are right for a tiger.

We have policies. The policies must be upheld. The policies are what separate us from the animals. The policies are what keeps us at the top of the food chain.

...wait.

Damn.

I'm watching you, Mr. Tricky McTricksterson. (Insert principal making bull w/ horns symbol here)

You're more than welcome to try and get the owners of the site to change the policies. Send them an e-mail and plead the case for why T&A should be allowed in GD.

I am Team so I can go to the BOTD if I have an overpowering urge to check out swimsuit pics just sort of random  I know the CoC is there for a purpose and the site is good because of the CoC it just seems odd that we can't have nose art pics but we can see graphic gore pics.

I respect the right of the owners to do as they see fit, just asking a rhetorical question I guess.

If you watch the movie Jaws backwards, it becomes a story about a shark puking up people until they have to open a beach.
