The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-seven percent (47%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -24 (see trends). The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook. Overall, 41% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-eight percent (58%) disapprove.  |

The best part is the 47% that hate his guts. Not slight disapproval, but fucking hate him. While his overall approval is only 41%
More people despise him than all his strong supporters and lukewarm supporters combined. Hopefully Strong Disapproval will hit 51% soon. He'll be toast. Not even acorn-like shenanigans can save him then. May as well resign early to save face. |

He still has almost an 80% approval rating among the dems. I read a lot of threads and have heard a lot of claims, even by talk radio, about how even the liberals are turning on him. There was an article on fox about actors not supporting him anymore. Upon reading the article it is revealed that they don't like that he is not liberal enough. They actually still support him and would vote for him again. |

The fact that his numbers are this high when things are so far in the toilet highlights what's gone wrong in this nation.
1. Too many people get their "information" from traditional media. 2. Too many people have become parasites on the system and therefore have a vested intrest in seeing it continue and grow. 3. Too many people are thoroughly indoctrinated by our educational system and have no idea the proper function of government in a Constitutional Republic. 4. Too many people are afraid of the responsibilities that come with freedom and would rather let the government take care of them, eagerly relinquishing their rights in order to feel safe. The November elections and what happens from then through the 2012 elections will determine the fate of this nation. If we don't get it right we're going to end up as a smoking hole in the ground. |
