I seem to remember a coach getting it written in his contract that he would always be the highest paid coach. Anyone know if I'm crazy or not?

Well, if that's true, it would either be Bill Belechick (NFL - $7.5M) or Mack Brown (NCAA - $5.1M).

Don't know off the top of my head. I know Les Miles (LSU) has an escalator clause to be the highest paid SEC coach.
