I've seen a few local auctions that have had NFA items, although it's quite rare.

there was a big devine auction this spring with quite a few transferables - apparently the folks who went made out VERY well.

one of our members scored an M60 for about 1/2 of what they have been going for.

Well, I was going to say the lot of 58 suppressors was interesting, but then I saw the Mig jet.

Those Bergmann pistols are sweet, beautiful design.  I wish I had the cheese to collect guns like that.

Wait, I can get a functional 57mm recoiless rifle for an estimated $2000-3000?  Indeeeeeeed....  (guessing ammo is the hangup)

Julia is one of four auction houses I've seen that regularly have good class three inclusions (the others being Devine, Amoskeag and Rock Island).  Prices will be soft at this auction, the market is in the tank –– so good luck bidding.

I would think that there could be over $2,000,000 worth of firearms there.

Some Dutch friends who are antique collectors were looking at the auction, they seemed to like what they saw

That mig jet is too much, there was a working Mig jet being sold in Oregon at one time but it required the person to have some kind of special pilot license to fly it and that license is very hard to get so that was why it was so cheap

MiG's and other Soviet bloc aircraft aren't really that hard to find or all that expensive. Well, to buy the airframe it's not that expensive.

Can anyone bid? How do they handle transfers? Do they have a C3 dealer on site?

That's just session 1.  Session 2 has some cool stuff also including: several cannons, lots of mid 19th century revolvers, a 1973 Corvette, and Gen. George Armstrong Custer's personal trunk.

That corvette is crap. If it goes for more than 12k I'd be surprised.
