I have a buddy who does a number of gun shows a year on the east coast (from VA to MA). I was surprised to learn that alcohol is served at the shows. Does this happen all over the country?

I've never seen it. Most have food and soft drinks, but I've NEVER seen alcohol.

Not that I've seen in NY....but they do sell alcohol at the car shows. Just goes to show that a popular privilege trumps a constitutional right.

I was kind of surprised. I was always taught no handling of firearms if any alcohol is consumed.

i can't remember if i've seen beer sold at the shows here but i don't see the problem if they did

I might like to mull over a big purchase with a beer before i make my decision

Never seen it here, they do for the sportsmans show, but that's like camping shit.

Not that I'd have a problem with it. But if they did serve here I'd been a NFA owner many times over by now.

All the firearms are supposed to be unload
but we have ND often enough we don't need to add alcohol to the mix

I seem to recall that the gun shows at Amon Carter had beer available. Never paid much attention as I don't feel like paying concession stand prices so I could be wrong.

They sell it at the Tampa show but I never see anyone drinking any.

I think its about $6.00 a cup so that might be it.

Never seen it at any shows I've been to in MI or IN. Maybe it's a liquor license issue? Either way, I doubt I'd pay the jacked up price the vendor would want for a beer.
