she must be good friends with the DEA guy with the dreadlocks. |

Quoted:
she must be good friends with the DEA guy with the dreadlocks. I was just about to say that on the bright side, at least she didn't shoot herself in the leg. I think maybe I should tell the kid in my POST Level III class who wants to be a DEA agent that maybe he should pick a new agency. |
|
Quoted:
she must be good friends with the DEA guy with the dreadlocks. No kidding, she swept the muzzle right over her hand while unholstering and if you look at her right hand she has a *really* shitty grip on the pistol. |

"FPO" usually means "For Position Only" And what does "For Position Only" mean? We use it in layouts when we don't have the actual copy... Sometimes you'll see "Greek" copy ("lorem ipsum dolor sit amet...") that's just random gibberish that approximates the actual word length. In this case it appears to me they wanted actual facts but didn't get them before the video went out. But they put in copy that was plausible enough to a non-gun person, so they just let it fly out there. I'm basing this off "FPO" being in the one line there. I could be totally wrong... But there's so much wrong in that headline that I have to suggest that maybe it was a placeholder for the real copy, but the real copy never got inserted in the video. |

What's up with the cocking noise/revolver cylinder rotating noise or whatever the heck it is in between shots too?

"FPO" usually means "For Position Only" - they just never filled in the right copy. Holy horse teeth... http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/2253/picture5ak.png Dude, she's missing at least one tooth! I guess the bulemia and crystal meth diet were hard on those back choppers. |

What's up with the cocking noise/revolver cylinder rotating noise or whatever the heck it is in between shots too? Sounds like trigger reset to me but it happens way to much so it's probably something they added in for the "cool" effect. |

And I just thought her hands were shaking because she was nervous!

I really do think it's a joke.
However, I'm surprised that none of you noticed that it's not a 45mm, it's a .45mm. She skipped a period. |

It's obviously "placeholder" copy. It was just put in during production to note the spot where they wanted the REAL copy to go after it was written. Obviously, someone screwed up and never replaced it with the real copy.
Stuff like this happens and it always looks really bad when it does. The funny thing is, if they would have used the gibberesh/Latin copy instead, they would have probably caught it themselves. But since someone typed in gibberesh "gun facts" as place holder copy, and then forgot to change it later, the other production people (who don't know anything about guns) didn't know it was essentially gibberish. |
