Two men suspected of leaving a live grenade in a Walmart parking lot are being referred to the U.S. Attorney's Office for a review and determination on whether charges are warranted, Montgomery police said Wednesday.
The MPD bomb squad responded to the store on Ann Street and found a live 40 mm round that was placed in the front parking lot of Walmart closest to the store.
The MPD bomb squad responded, took the device and rendered it safe.
One suspect turned himself in after learning there was store surveillance video.
