it's officially on sale and has begun shipping to dealerships as of today. You will be seeing tons of them on the road soon. Love or hate gm, this car is awesome, I hope it sells well and keeps me working.

Aside from the massive console, looks very average. Yayy mediocrity!!

And GM fucked it all up by only offering a manual trans with the base model car. The 1.4 turbo motor is only available with the automatic.
I will be looking at a commuter car in the next couple months. I was looking forward to the Cruze. I guess Ford or Mazda will get my money. Although GM should just start handing them out, since we own the damn company right now anyway! |

No possibility one of those things would EVER end up in my garage. More GM crap.

|
$25k for a warmed-over Cavalier with a couple of gimmicks? I'm sure they can do better than that.
|
|

Ummm, I work too hard making my life better to be crammed In a tiny car for hours on end. I want something comfy, with lots of room for luggage, the pup and wife. I rent Corollas all the time. I hate that sized car and I'm only 5-10. I'm simply not willing to throw out the American dream due to government regulations. Sorry GM, it's too small.

I love how OP constantly tries to get people excited about GM products (well product, since the Cruze is apparently the only GM vehicle worthwhile according to OP), but in reality is doing more name brand damage than good.
Just a hint to marketing people out there: having/letting a Union employee spam message boards about a product is rarely seen as a good idea. |

I know the new Caprice is a Holden and that the GTO was a Holden. Does GM design anything here anymore? |

I dig the commercials. Pains me to say it. They fired us earlier this year.

What an incredibly stupid commercial. I bet they spent millions on it.

The only thing that I like about it, is the 6 speed manual trans.
If I ever get a chance to buy a new car it will be a Honda or Toyota. Chevy can go eat a bag of fried dicks. |

The Quality remains to be seen, but I do agree with the rest. We need some good news here. I don't think the Cruze is it by a long shot, but it's not going to hurt, anyway. |

Interesting stuff here: http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/tag/cruze/
If the Jetta ends up being cheaper, I think a lot of the market is going to go that route. |

A compact car that costs upwards of $25k and starts just under $17k? GTFO

Nice that he cares about his home state, but he's selling out by hustling for Govt Motors. |
