Real music (of all genres) where the people involved had to grid their way to the top.

The old timers who remembered hearing stories from the 49'ers and told them in turn.

Yeah, the world marches on.

Did you (do) you like 80's hair on chics because it's sexy like post-sex hair??? I kind of get it..I get compliments a lot on my hair when I don't do it when I let it stay curlie and like put gel in it so it's kind of wild.  Like if I'm going to ride on a motorcycle all day kind of hair.  Genuine question.

I miss my dad.  Next month he will have passed away 2 years ago.  When my son does something funny/noteworthy, or something important happens in my life, I still reflexively think "I can't wait to tell dad about that"....

On a lighter note, and just to rub it in with the OP:  My wife is originally from Germany and is a fantastic cook.  She makes awesome Schnitzel and homemade Spaetzle any way you can think of (Weiner style with a slice of lemon on top is my favorite) with the leftovers used for Schnitzel sammiches the next day.  We also make Curry Wurst with homemade curry ketchup (just mix some good curry powder with Heinz ketchup... voila!).  She also makes a killer Schwarzwalderkirchtorte that's an old family recipe that was passed down from her Schwarzwald-dwelling Grandmother.  She also bakes German Farmer Bread (Bauenbrot... sp?) and those little cream puffs (Windbreutel... sp?)

You need to be more obnoxious if someone actually makes a comment about what you're eating.  I have never, not once, had anyone comment that I was eating something they considered politically incorrect.
