I'm trying to help out here. I've got a friend that's a recruiter and is looking to fill a spot for a Sr. Network Ops Technician 2. Anyone interested I'll put you in touch with the recruiter.

Job description is

Sr. Network Ops Technician 2
Complete Description:

Build and maintain monitoring systems and notify more experienced personnel of issues that arise. Work within the EMS team to create, design, and support monitoring applications.
Provide Tier II support for user and system problems. Provide 24/365 on-call support for overall performance concerns. The person should have some knowledge in some of the following areas, TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP,
Java, C, Perl, Firewalls, network architecture, IP addressing, and ports. Behavior Characteristics: Able to present data and information to team members, management and executives.

With a CS degree and 5 years on Solaris or AIX?



You'll get applicants, but anybody that actually meets every one of those requirements and is willing to work for that, is bullshitting you on his resume.
