I am thinking about trying my hand at making a silver ring out of a pre-65 quarter, just something fun to burn some time at night for a couple days...

Anyone ever done this?

And would it be worth annealing the quarter by heating it to make it easier to form?

interesting...

A few places seem to mention annealing, but most do not, so I am just curious about that part of it I guess...
