Space? The final Frontier? That's what I love about GD. Even when there's fail, there's win. |

I hope JJ Abrams makes a sequel to the JJ Abrams directed "Star Trek" because everything JJ Abrams does is gold to me.
He hasn't let me down yet. I even loved the lens flares. He never should have apologized for those. |

Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor not a Entertainment Tonight talking head!

Quoted: Hopefully the same cast. They were pretty good. agreed. It was pretty enjoyable for a remake. They definitely did better than the *new* star wars trilogy. |

Adam Carolla tells a story about being with Jimmy Kimmel one day, and they drove past a movie theater where hundreds of people were lined up to see Star Wars: Episode One. As they passed, Adam leaned out the window and yelled, "Star Trek sucks!" The crowd was: |

Same cast. I hear they're signed on for at least 3 more. I heard three total (two more), but that'll probably change anyway. |

IMDB says they all signed on to make the next one. Its supposed to be out in 2012.

I wish JJ would go back and make a movie from the "countdown" comic.
It tells the lead in story for the last movie. Captain Data, General Worf, Ambassodors Picard and Spock...it would be a good flick. |

QUESTION FOR YOU STAR TREK GURUS.
When JTK (the kid in the stringray) dumped the car over the cliff...was that the cliff that the borg made using their laser shit. I was wondered that. |

not really sure what your are asking.
edit i did like the latest movies actors |

Captain Data, General Worf, Ambassodors Picard and Spock...it would be a good flick. They're either going to have to give Data an aging chip or film him 80' away through smoke and a shower curtain or something. Brent Spiner is 61 years old, ffs. |

Field Marshal Worf sounds good Quoted:

better than the last 3 regular ST movies IMO |

Space? The final Frontier? OP: What is the question? Is there a new Star Trek coming out or something? |

Cut down on the lens flare and a little more judicial use of shakeycam is all I ask.
I hate some of the tech changes they made (those fucking nacelles, rocket exhaust, engineering that looks like a fucking brewery or water treatment plant, transporting across light years, chrome flip phasers) but I guess we're stuck with that now. As for the cast and characters as they were in the first one? They're great. Run with it and see where it goes. I'll be there for the ride. |

Hope so I am life long ST fan and I loved this latest remake better than the last 3 regular ST movies IMO Generations was barely watchable. Well, the Kirk parts were OK. First Contact kicked ass! One of the best ST movies. Insurrection was just dumb. Nemesis had potential, but was meh. |

I have a huge collection and have seen every episode, but I can't get behind a reboot.

Star Trek is now a zombie franchise.
It's just shambling along making vague motions and sounds like it's former self, but with no life or soul inside it. |
