Simulated steel Glock, of course.

The 1917? There really is no substatute for real, steel perfection.

Sig P220 is made of metal.

I wouldn't buy a new Sig, though. Heard to many horror stories about modern Sig QC.

Steel frame limits the selection, for a good reason...

This is my Megastar, note the nearly 3 pound empty weight!

All stainless Sig P220.  There are always several on Gunbroker.  This would be my preference.  I love P220's.

CZ97 is also an excellent choice.

Had a P220ST and it was awesome but too heavy to carry. That or the CZ97B (never had) would be a good choice...

I completely forgot about those.

Smith made a nice .45.  I prefer the slightly shorter 4566, but they all were  nice guns.

Sig 220.

Hence why after I got my I promptly sold my SS Springfield 1911A1.

The Sig is lighter, handles better, is more accurate and has better ergo's and features, one being the DA/SA trigger with decocker (at least on the model I have).

I had an S&W 745, fine pistol.  I sometimes wish I hadn't sold it.  I have a CZ 97B, it's a fine gun as well.

FN-FNP in 45 has been the best polymer pistol I have found thus far. I prefer my 1911 though even if it only holds 7 or 8 rounds at a time.

reading comprehension was not my strong suite on the ASVAB.  That said, Sig P220
