Quoted: Michael Mann film Yeah, around the same time as Man Hunter. A little dated (padded shoulder on suits, pastels, ect) but not too bad. Didn't they have a Lambo 4X4 in that too? John |

Ah, the original "Miami Vice-The Movie".
Stephen Lang has had some pretty good roles. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Also starring famed IPSC competitor/ actor Jim Zubiena. Well maybe starring (and famed) is too strong a word, but he did have a speaking role.

I remember the city council saying that all of his programs never worked and he's asking for money again. |

I liked it in 1986, I'd probably think it was terrible if I saw it now.

It was released on DVD, but it was in Full Frame and it quickly went out of print. Cheapest I've seen it lately was $50 for a used copy.

Quoted: Yeah I used to watch it all the time. Does anybody remember The Park Is Mine? Young Tommy Lee Jones. Had it on Betamax in the Army in 1983. Yellow and blue tape on the AK mags to distinguish between blank and live ammo. Great movie. Takes the young newscaster (don't remember her name, but very cute) made her strip in front of him and put on BDU's or OD clothing. |

Living where I do and because I was the same age range and other similarities
that movie hit very close to home back in those days. I ended up taking the high road and am thankful. Many of my acquaintances from those days were not so lucky. |

I`ve seen it in the distant past. Cant honestly say that I remember very much of it.
I think one of the guys from Starsky & Hutch made it. |
|
I was a junior in high school when it came out. The only part I remember is Dylan singing the song. I'll have to see it again if I can find it.

Well, IIRC, the main bad guy was a coke dealer and it is an '80s movie, so I'm sure there's a scene with a mound of it somewhere... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
