I turn the radio when 50's era do-wop comes on, seen too many horror movies where something horrible happens when that music is playing. (X-files: Home)

Even though I fancy myself a person of logic and reason, I am always a little leery of Friday the 13th.

I have this weird one that if I wish something bad on someone, it will happen to someone I love.

If I'm at work and someone mentions "its really slow tonight" I know the next call is going to be some drunk crashing into two or three cars in the busiest intersection in town.

I don't have any superstitions, but as anyone in emergency services will tell you (and people outside that field of work will CALL it superstition) full moons are fucked right the hell up.

You always get wacky calls on full moon nights, especially if it happens to be a weekend.

Not all that superstitious. Just the occasional human sacrifice for Cthulu (wouldn't want to be eaten last) when the moon turns red, but that's it, really.

I think most of the nutrition "science" I read in the news is superstition.
