He's half lab and half something else.

What do yall think the other half is?

ETA: He is 4 months old if that helps.

You're type of dog is referred to as a <CoC violation> dog in my parts.

He's cute though.

Careful... it might eat your baby.

Not sure...I'm guessing one of the popular bird/coon hunting breeds.

That's either a pit bull or an AK47.

I was going to say some kind of terrier

lab/ heeler?
Link Posted: 9/1/2010 10:41:31 PM EDT
[#10]
I'm going with collie of some type. That little stripe looks just like my 2 dogs. Mine are black and white however, he could be a red border collie/lab mix

Was the lab ever around any opossums?
Link Posted: 9/1/2010 10:54:04 PM EDT
[#12]
Well, I WAS going to vote for Possum...but someone beat me to it.  I'll  say Boxer. With those long legs and short snout.

Does this creature have magnets ?

According to the media and reporters that is a pit bull, rottweiler, or a black man...

My fiancee says that he is half Sheppard because he points his ears up when he hears stuff, and from this youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0mVEE_jLOc&feature=related she  says that that dog is identical.

He is a shelter dog, his litter was found left besides the road.

So I have no idea.

Yeah, but the freckles & thin fur right behind his nose remind me of this:

(Red Tick Coon Hound)

ETA: Blue Tick pup:

Pit.

pit with a heavy dose of retriever

shelters are really hamming the retriever lineage when a pit is involved.

they'll note lab mixes in order to help the little fellas/gals to get adopted....

and help the new owners to get around the HOA regulations

I am a softy as far as getting things my fiancee wants, she wanted a dog to keep her company in our new house/ wake her up in time to shoot anyone breaking in. So I told her it was ok to go get one.

I had a pet Alligator I caught as a kid till it escaped during a flood if that helps my image.

Yes, that is true. I have 5 pit/lab mixes and they are very good, very intelligent dogs. The pit stigma makes otherwise good dogs difficult to adopt out. To me it's a positive not a negative.

Not sure about breed but whatever you do, don't post a picture of said puppy being savagely killed by Egyptian "soldiers" and then post a commonly used derogatory term for those who wear certain clothlike garments on their heads.  Otherwise you'll get reported by a namby pamby crybaby and get a msg/warning from a mod about using said derogatory term.

Now back to the program...

Looks like a fine animal.  I'm sure he will bring you and your family years of joy and companionship.

Looks like a lab/pit mix, but more lab than anything. IMHO the pit really shows on his brother. Has some of the facial features and the stripe between his eyes looks pit to me. Cute pup for sure though.
