I get a kick out of this case title:

NAACP vs. Cracker Barrel.

More attempts to steal money using racial guilt. "pay or we'll call you racists on TV and your business will go to shit."

You would not believe the kind of crap restaurant operators have to go through on a daily basis.  I am the GM for a large restaurant chain.  Had a lady come in the other day and order a combination plate that is not even on the menu.  My manager that was on duty custom made a plate that she thought would make the lady happy.  The lady ate all but one bite, then complained she had a piece of crab shell in her food.  No problem, the manager asks what she would like and she orders something completely different.  She procedes to eat all but one bite again, then complains there is a crab shell in this order.  Her meal is replaced a third time which she completely devours.  The lady then proclaims she is not going to pay for anything because of the two small pieces of crab shell she found.  Not wanting to have any problems, the manager on duty says fine and allows her to leave.  She then calls me a couple hours later when I get to the restaurant and complains that we have a discrimination problem in the restaurant because she was the only oriental person in the entire place, all she saw were Mexicans and white people.  Now my restaurant is located on the Mexican border, what would you expect to see in it?  She told me she was going to sue us for everything she could get because we were "biased".  I gave her the number to our corporate legal dept and told her to have a nice day.

I think these people get so caught up in the racism witch hunt that they start to see every slight or bit of rudeness as racially motivated.

Not to say that the racist stuff doesn't happen. It's funny as hell to watch the servers in the office cafeteria dump obviously larger portions on the plates of customers with similar skin color.

While this stuff does happen, the sue happy people see it more often than it really occurs.

This is just another battle of the "Minority-Superblock" against America.

A few years ago Cracker Barrel was raked over the coals by the Homosexuals for allegedly not hiring enough fags & dykes.

Now the left wing is breaking out the big guns and mobilizing the "blacks" (i.e. NAALCP) to either overthrow or destroy the company.

Gays, Blacks, Womenz, the Poor, Hispanics, Children, Nonsmokers, Disabled, Immigrants... the LeftWing has a LOT of angles to attack anyone who they get in their sites.

With that said, why is it ok to have a group such as the NAACP but not a group called the NAAWP.  Why is it ok in the city I live in to have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce but not a White Peoples Chamber of Commerce.  

I just feel we need to stop with the labeling and classification of our US citizens.  I think that would go a long way towards reducing and eliminating some of the racist societies we live in today.

Racism can go both ways.

OK I'll bite.  According to the minority "activists," *Society* is the NAAWP, at the expense of "people of color."  *The* Chamber of Commerce *already* is the White Peoples Chamber of Commerce, so that's why we need the Hispanic, Black, etc. etc. chambers of commerce.

And as Chairborn Ranger says, if you're not part of the solution i.e. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, NAACP etc. then you are defacto.....part of the problem.....being white.  You don't have to agree or like it but merely recognize the strategy.  It also has a convenient us versus them, rich versus poor, haves against have-nots simplicity that is very powerful in politics.  Somehow wanting to take money from those that have is not greed but wanting to keep your own is?  Simple huh?

If you want to see what the "civil rights" crowd is all about check out this book.  The Myths That Divide Us : How Lies Have Poisoned American Race Relations by John Perazzo.  I'm about half way through it now.  It's definitely written with a critical eye out for Jesse, Al, and the like.  Some of the statistics presented, while not necessarily wrong, don't show the whole picture from a truly academic standpoint in my opinion.  But, the stories of what people actually get away with in the name of civil rights will tick you off.

So a white guy sued a white owned restaraunt and you equate that with the never ending torrent of "I bin discrinamated ginst" litigation. How did that turn out? Did whites on the jury look favorably upon his case?

FYI: When trial attorneys bring these class-action suits they deliberately do so in large, urban settings where they know a large percentage of the jurors will be black or other minorities. Doesn't matter where the alleged offenses occured. They know where they have the best chance of getting a sympathetic jury.

I feel for restaurant employees...I eat out about ten times a week and I've seen so much crap like what he posted...I see "certain" people who you try to seat them and they always complain until they get seated somewhere else, drink the whole drink(from the bar of course) and say it wasn't good...Eat the meal and leave a VERY small portion and say it wasn't good. BTW every waitperson KNOWS which group tips the least(wonder why ya got the crappy service????) I have actually SEEN(with my own eyes) someone pull a hair out of her head and place it on the plate and then complain to the waitstaff.  The employees could not be jerks about it however I made it a point to pull a hair out of my head right in front of my server and (pretty loudly)asked for a refund "becouse that lady over there did the same and she got a free meal"..I then went on to say I was only kidding(which he already knew but for the benefit of others)and that I was not a poor azz low life who eats everything on the plate and then can't afford to pay...I tried going on for a good bit to insult the person indirectly, but hey when you resort to doing this type of crap your already too far gone...BTW I wonder how many soul food establishments have been sued for not being a "cracker friendly enviroment"???
