Having done some barefooting, I have lots of respect for him. (at least in that department)

Overall he seems to know his shit and certainly isn't one of the "hey look at me I'm a stinky hippy" hippies.

I like cody lundin. I have one of his books and he knows his stuff. But, if I were in a bad situation, I'd want to have Dave with me. Cody would feed you bugs while Dave is out taking down a deer with a machete or spear or something crazy. And if you had to fight off invading hoardes, Dave could run an AR. They are both pretty impressive to me.

The turkey and pig were both set up for him. He has also been outed for "Stolen Valor" and you'll notice that the show no longer touts him as an Army sniper... because he wasn't.
