Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Interested in WW2 reenacting...

Ok a couple of friends and may have caught the reenacting bug. Can somone give me a link to a reenacting group in North Carolina please? How long does a reenactment last? Also the only gear we have is a couple of garands. I know authentic gear is required, where can i find the stuff? Can .308 garands be used in reenacting?
