I am sitting here reading AR15.com and got an overwhelming desire.....no, not that type of desire....

So I got up, went to the safe and got one of my ARs.  Surfing [b]www.AR15.com[/b] while holding my rifle (but not my gun) is so much more satisfing(:D).

Am I the only one?????

I just opened my gun vault to check some features on my pre-ban Colts before answering another members question.

It's an obsession brother, go with it.  Just think before you do what the little voices tell you to.

I understand...I am very proud that I have have intimate knowledge of each and every one of my firearms.  I can tell what each rifle is by it location in the safe alone.  Hell, I remember my rifles serial #'s better tahn my aniversary or kids birthdays!!

It must be love.....or lust..whatever.

I don't know if you're the only one, but to me that just sounds rediculous. If you're gonna go to the safe to get the AR out, you might as well get em all out.

Seriously though, right now I've got a 30-06 leaned against my desk. Two M-44s leaning in the corner a couple of feet away, a loaded pistol above my monitor, a big box of Magpuls to my left and about 50 M16 bandolier kits sitting on my desk in front of my printer. Not to mention the little baggie of Glock 3.5# connectors and maritime spring cups that are sitting in my box of 50 packages of foam earplugs. I've also got a spraycan and small squeeze bottle of Break-Free and Barnes solvent sitting right next to my USGI flashlight on top of the desk. Mixed in with a bunch of papers there are two 30rd Sanchez magazines (with green followers) and there are 7 unknown manufacturer Mini-14 30rd mags in the same drawer as the 13" Stainless Ruger bolt action barrel (don't ask). I've also got a package of 50' of camouflage rope that I haven't opened. I almost forgot about the 1300 stripper clips on the left of the desk, just out of sight. That's about it, other than the M16A1 flash hider sitting here that I use for a thread protector on my 10/22.

Am I a psycho? And no, I'm not making any of this up, it's really all sitting here. [:)]

OH MY GOD, I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE.
if my girlfriend wasn't between me and the gun safe,asleep, i'd have one right now.

I also tend to count my mags a couple times a week.  Just to make sure I have enough.

Odd thing is, no matter how many I have, it's not enough.

Since I am at work, all I can fondle at the moment is my USP, but just wait till I get on at home, toys everywhere. I love'em!!!

Usually I have my FAL ,AR , Cetme stacked around my desk and then on it I usually have my SW99 ,Taurus 669CP and my AutoOrdinance on my desk .... I tell my wife I'm considering cleaning them while I'm sitting here .

I even had the T-Shirt on; the LE Blue knife out; the Dissipator close at hand; the Beretta even closer; 3 or 4 windows open on the screen so I could jump around while the others SLOWLY loaded; you get the picture.

What about sitting here with a 16" pre-ban upper, imagining what it will look like when the rest of the parts for it come in.

Not only that but I listen to "Me Little Armalite" also.

I have an AR sitting approximately 3 feet to my left and an AK sitting about two feet behind me.

I just cleaned my 1911 while sitting here and now have it in a shoulder holster rig w/ magazines.

The trick is to get a safe big enough to [b]sleep[/b] in. [:)]
