I had to sign my 163 times this morning and 5 minutes ago my realtor brought me the keys to my new house! What a f*cking hassle the last month has been.

I doubt any of yall care, but I had to tell somebody. [:)]

Great, I remember the same feeling 25 years ago. We stayed and raised all our children here. Hope you do as well.

Congratulations.  I just closed a week ago and have been moving ever since.  The good news is I can shoot on my property.

It's been a lot of work but I think it will be worth it.  I hope your move goes/went better.

Well, I'm planning on finishing the move on Sunday, so any time after that. Just let me know ahead of time so I can send the wife and kids to the mall or something before the strippers you are bringing arrive. [:)]

One should always bring a gift; do you already have one of these?

Congratulations Ponyboy. I'm currently squirreling away my 5% down payment so we can move outta this place.

No, I didn't take any pics. I might run over there and take some tonight though. Especially my little "gun cabin" out back, just to show off. [:)]

I went FHA since this was my first house and only needed 3% down. The nice thing is, it's only about a mile from the duplex I live in now, if that. So it won't be that terribly bad to move since the drives will be short.

It sure will be nice once we're all moved in.

Well that was a nice thought 1GUNRUNNER. But I'm afraid that I do already have a toaster. However, with all of the room I'm going to have now I sure could use one of these.

We should be breaking ground by the end of this week. Stay tuned. In about 5 months we too will be moving in. The list starts here for those that want to help with the move in.

Congrats Ponyboy!! [beer]

There's nothing like walking outside, stomping your foot into the ground and saying "This is MINE!"

You are now what I call a "full-fledged responsible and legitimate" citizen of this great land.
Of course you know the Founding Fathers originally intended that only property owners should be allowed to vote... Ah, the good old days [:D].

See ya' at Home Depot! [:D]

I live in Sherman. My new house is three blocks north and about six blocks west of where I live now.

I plan on building a house within the next 5-10 years, but I got tired of throwing my money away on rent in the meantime. I have to admit, I'm pretty happy with the place I found though. I wasn't so sure at first, but it grew on me. [:)]

I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Congratulations, Ponyboy!

Here's hoping that you don't end up with neighbors like these!
