Charlton Heston means well, but my vote is for Neal Knox. Wayne Lapierre and his gang, while very competent in their own way, have transformed the NRA into their own personal racket. They spend member dollars demonizing Neal, while printing ads coincidentally across from the election ballot in the magazine telling the membership how to vote in the board elections. If I remember right, this year they even had their "advice" printed directly on the ballot itself. Neal may not have movie-star status, but he sure knows what the Second Amendment is really about and doesn't have memory lapses like Wayne did after Columbine.

TODAY:  kind of a toss-up between Chuch Heston and the NRA gang (they're at it everyday which is more than I can say for myself) and Tom Selleck (for a couple of reasons, he didn't waffle or bend under duress and he's still (sorta) a household name)

ALL TIME:  Every freaking one of the founding fathers because they all believed in the 2nd wholeheartedly, not this pick-and-choose crap that current politicos are driveling about.

Let's see.   How about Ron Paul. Helen Chenoweth was good, but kept her self-imposed term limit.  Or Bob Barr, perhaps, though I'm not too sure about him.   Ted Nugent stands out.

Ditto on Neal Knox.   Also Larry Pratt.
