Hope it works out. Some rental cars are a steal. My dad bought a 95 Corolla rental and ran it until well past 340K. The most dependable car he ever owned. Other rentals are a crapshoot

I traded in my 97 with 200k. It was a dependable car and I abused it often.

i hope you didn't get my old company car, it was an 09 altima 2.5 S and it was a POS.

with less than 100 miles when new, the whole AC unit had to be replaced including compressor, condenser, all lines etc. because of metal shavings in the system - took 3 days and the dashboard had to be ripped out to replace all parts.

during that time, the dumbass tech at germain nissan broke my steering column, cracked my center console and a bunch of plastic covers and broke a cover in the engine bay also fucking dash rattled and was never right.

it's a very cheaply built car and drove it hard, put down almost 50k miles since i'm in med sales with a large area.

i hope your luck is better.

I drive an 06 that I bought new in September of 2006. It had 2 miles on it when I got it, today it had 96666 when I looked at the odo. It's like the other two Nissans I have owned, very good cars. No problems to speak of, except a rotor on the right rear when the caliper stuck and wore down the pad in a short amount of time, just this spring. That was a quick easy fix.

I had a 92 Sentra before that. It had 190k on it when I sold it to my son's friend, who shortly thereafter hit a curb sideways and pretty much totalled it.

My next car or truck will probably be another Nissan.

You sir, are my hero

Lets just say when my brother and I rented a pair of Dodge K cars many years ago, we were none too gentle to them
