I hope they don't go out of business due to the shitty economy.
July 5, 2010

Wise Lite Arms is undergoing a
restructuring of our business model. As a result of the current state of
the industry, we are reevaluating our business model and the direction
of our company. Until further notice, we will no longer be accepting
orders through our website. All orders that have already been placed
will be filled as soon as possible.

We are also no longer accepting
build orders for any of our projects. If you already have a kit here,
it will be completed and delivered as soon as possible. If you have
placed an order but your kit is not here, your order has been cancelled.

The gun industry I'd imagine is in decline after the post election splurge.  I Imagine C&Rs specialist are harder hit than most.  Just a guess.

Yeah, that goes without saying.  Just look in the EE.  If it costs a lot of money, nobody's buying.

I'm willing to bet companies like Wise-Lite are hardest hit.  Nobody has the money for the stuff they build.  Semi-auto PKM's and RPD's are a niche market but a cornerstone of Wise-Lite's business.

They won a big .gov contract and are crazy-busy, so they don't want to put more work in the pipeline until they're sure they can get product out the door in a reasonable timeframe.  No worries, they're doing very well.

If their is truth to it, I'd imagine PKMs for the USMils foreign weapons instruction programs.  Potentially foreign buyers too.

Why?  The military could simply buy correctly built ones from Poland (or some other friendly).   If only a few are needed, battlefield pickups would suffice.  It's got to be something else...

From what I understand, it's aerospace engineering.  Not gun related.
