College. Had a lot of fun, got my education, then met my wife

College at a small private liberal arts school. Great weather, great food, great people, great books, great music. I had so much fun. Too bad I could only afford a year.

The rest of my college education was at a place that was the opposite of all that. Tremendous regret I settled for a lame school.

Id have to say the year 1989, graduated highschool, badass hairband music, girls were easy, and I didnt have a care in the world, LIfe was just easier.

In my youth below the age of 10. No cares in the world.

What I term as a normal childhood with kids playing in the streets is now a relic of the past.

Now that I'm 36, i can honestly say that i miss the 11-20 years old stage, even younger. Sure i drank & fooled around with girls in my teens & twenty's. But that innocence that you have when you're a little kid is irreplaceable. I see it every day in my little ones.

Very hard to say. There was a two year period where I dated my wife, was going to college, and worked as a mall ninja. They were great times ... but we also fought like caged wombats.

Every age has had points where they were the best. I'm worried about the next 5 years when my daughter becomes a young teenager. I don't want that happening so soon. I've spent the last 9 years trying to fix up the house, make money, and give her a life that I would have loved. Now it's going to slip away before I can enjoy it with her.

I'm going to bed.

Believe it or not, teen years. School was easy, I went horseback riding every day (weather permitting), didn't have to work, and had relatively few chores at home. Early 20's is a close second.

Looking back, 1-20 was the worst. 20-40 really has been spectacular, with only three bad years in there in retrospect.

I am making an effort sure ensure 40-50 is just as good.

Good job, great wife, my own place outside of town, safe full of guns and good prospects for the future. I can't think of a better time in my life, other than wishing my Dad was still here to share it.

I voted 21-30, because that was when I was in the police academy. I was the most physically fit I've ever been in my life, I weighed 147 pounds and wore a size ten (I'm 5'9") and was engaged to be married. I remember driving home on the weekend before I was to be married, in my pretty nice Honda Prelude, on a sunny crisp fall day, and feeling like I was walking on clouds.

It's been some time since then but I look forward to feeling that way again soon. The trick is to have goals, and when you meet them, make new ones. Since I've gotten soft, my next goal is to reach the top 20% of physical fitness for my age range and to get credit card debt and loan debt free. I think it's feasible and getting there is half the fun.

I'm kind of the exact opposite. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with my age.

ETA: I am about to turn 30, so maybe it's downhill from there.

I'm 53, gonna be 54 in 6 days.
Now is the best time of my life.
I did everything when I was younger and I actually survived!!!
The kids in their 20's or 30's (maybe even the 40's) are pretty much clueless....

21-29

Lived in L.A. from 21-26 (I was right in the middle of it. None of that I live in L.A. but in Thousand Oaks BS) I lived on Franklin and Whitley.

Then moved to Vegas from 26-29. Lived right off of Sahara and Decatur and had a view of the strip from my balcony.

Now, I live in the fucking sticks and turn 30 in a month.

Definently now at age 24. Good paying job, married to a great woman, son on the way, and in decent shape.

My childhood wasn't as carefree as most have so I can't say those years.
