That piece of shit perata is on Fox News right now. What a dipshit. "This tax will move the burden of treating gunshot victims from the taxpayers to gunowners." Says the informed one.

Only problem, law abiding gun owners are not the ones shooting people. The idiots who are shooting people are not paying taxes (unless Kali has passed a new crack tax, and it wouldn't surprise me.)

This overpaid hippocrite has the nads to screw gunowners and yet has a carry permit himself.

Where DO these people get their logic? [>:/]

I can think of a few other choice words about him but yeah, he sucks.

It really chaps my hide!

The assembly and senate members from my area are all Republican/pro-gun, but these assholes from the bay area are relentless in their ill-conceived efforts.

I can honestly say, with malice aforethought, that I hope Don Pereta gets cancer of the rectum and dies for his part in destroying the Second Amendment in CA.

This jackass is issued a CCW solely because he is the author of so many anti-Second Amendment laws. What kind of sense does that make? Quit crushing the rights of the good citizens and people wouldn’t be wishing you dead

Edited to add 'stinking'

For those who don't already know, Dumb Perata (oops, I meant Don) wants a 5 cent per bullet tax on each bullet sold in the state.

Whatever.

Remember, there's no logic to it folks, someone with logic wouldn't be proposing this kind of bs.

Oh, and he's "looking forward" to the flood of emails, calls, and letters from pro-rights individuals.

The question should be:

Do the kalidiot gun owners have the nads to do something about it? I think not.

What exactly am I supposed to do?

I vote.
I donate to NRA, CRPA, JPFO, etc...
I go to DOJ hearings.
I protested at the state Capitol.
I tell anybody that will listen.

I am a law abiding citizen, and do my best to comply with the law.  It takes real nads to abide by these unconstitutional laws. If I somehow found myself standing behind Perata with a baseball bat, temptation might get the better of me.  I am only human.

I’m up for suggestions. Perhaps there’s a win-win tactic for us idots here in CA to employ that we’ve not yet tested?

CA gun owners don’t have the nads to do something about it? Maybe you have a secret tactic? All available means have been expended on my front.

You’ve brought this up before. Perhaps you speak of unconventional tactics?

Share! I’m an idiot!

mejames, damageinc, don't get baited into anything here.

Remember, it's not the gunowners that are the problem. I'll assume that everyone here is doing their civic duty by voting, writing their representatives, etc.

Unfortunately, we may be outnumbered. Especially in ways that matter because of redistricting. The thing is, a constitution is supposed to protect us from the equating of what is popular with what is right.

So the problem isn't the gun owners -- it's the gun grabbers.

And, of course, the trolls.

Moving out of the state won’t help. It will catch up to all the others if the trend continues.

Anti-Second Amendment laws in CA (as well as other states) are passed by a handful of jackasses who meet regularly in the Capitol Building. The laws are not the will of the constituents. They are the will of power-hungry bastards who want a second term, a gold house and all the women they can hump. If the true idiots who reside in the state keep believing that they are safe in their Pereta-induced utopia, they will vote for these pricks forever.

I even heard Greg Khin on KFOX complain about this. He even asked if there was a farm for whacko politicians such as Perata. Sounds like Greg has the same viewpoints as Ted Nugent in this regard.

"This tax will move the burden of treating gunshot victims from the taxpayers to gunowners."

They'll play the little game like they did with the lotto money.  Sure we will put all the gun tax money into the health care network but it will be in place of the money we would normally give you.  End result, hospitals get the same amount of money, State makes more money

Absolutely! And do you you think they will do anything about the poor misguided criminals who make a "mistake" and shoot someone?

No, let's just punish the gunowners whom we shit on anyway!

Good citizens of Kali take up the rear again.

I love the place but can't stand the pricks who run it!

A tax to take the burden off the taxpayers? What a load of .....

There should be a national tax on knives to offset the cost stabbing injuries. What about skateboards? Bicycles? Baseball bats? Backpacks? Kids have to carry so many books that there's been an increase in back problems for kids.

On the other hand, if I spend all my income on ammo, does that mean I can deduct the ammo tax from my income tax?

Read the first clause of the 2nd Amendment.

Freedom is something that is sold cheap, but can only be retrieved at a much greater price.

Prepare now, for time is short.

"This tax will move the burden of treating gunshot victims from taxpayers to gunowners"

Anyone noticed that Davis, with the help of the Dems will seek to securitize $4 billion ( $400 million per year for 10 years) of tobacco settlements to save the budget.  Yep, gone are the specific plans to use this for "health care only" as their original claims were made.  Pretty bold hijackers, now making the same error as they made on energy, treating a short term problem with a long term solution.  Got a problem......mortgage the future!!!!!!

If the debt of CA gets down-graded, businesses will re-consider their future also.

I went to his web site and e-mailed him.

Taxpayers are not shooting people.  Criminals are.  De-criminalize and put the tax on drugs.  Add these new taxes to the Tobacco Settlement Funds that you and Davis plan to securitize and hijack for the next 10 years and you may have enough money to feather your socialist beds.

Can't wait for the "fat" tax to be implemented on fast food and soft drinks.

Somehow this reminds me of the stories of relatives of executed prisoners in Russia being charged for the bullets.

Here is his FAX #..   Don Perata 1-916-327-1997
