There's a motel on Route 2 right outside the gates. There are also some places in Port Clinton.
Have you looked into on-base lodging? |

yeah, but my dad axed that, said it was too rudimentary, what can I say he likes to have his own shower.

Hey! Don't go overboard yet, there are some very decent "motel" type rooms on post. That is, if they haven't all been booked yet. Call Camp Perry and ask to speak to who ever handles rental of accomodations, staying on post is real convienient.

Its a resort town in off season. You should be able to get good room rates at anything from the Raddison to the redroof. Just depends on your tastes and needs. Go to Cedarpoint.com, they should have links to local area lodgings.
