I'll have to say that my favorite "The Nug" quote appears on the wrapper of his "Ted Nugent Gonzo Biltong" beef jerky package. He's sitting on a buffalo, quiver raised in the air, with the caption: "I testdrive all meat!" Hilarious. Have only seen it once, on a Chippewa reservation in MI, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled. . . |

Well I like the Nuge since he buys rifles from Prairie gun works here in Canada. Great company run by great people.

I have seen the Nuge in concert three times. Two out of the three he places his quitar on a board and has it lifted up over the stage. He then takes his bow and fires a flaming arrow into....AWESOME!

Whoa, guys, I did not mean to criticize his music!! I am just not into music (I don't even own a stereo!), so I just don't care for loud music. You have me very curious to go to one of his concerts though. If a guitar is getting shot with an arrow, and there is a tribute to Fred Bear--I'm there!! I have never been to a concert, so it will be an experience. By all means, the Nuge is one of my greatest heroes, as I said. I have precious few heroes, so he ranks right up there. I am sorry if I left the wrong impression! [:)]

I went to hear a relative of mine play with Nugent. I didn't know much about Ted Nugent, so his performance was, ummm, unexpected. I couldn't believe he made the phrase (excuse the language) "Janet Reno is a whore!" musical. He just repeated it over and over again. Not many people can turn an insult into a work of art.z

From what I have noted of Nugent he is the only one (celebrities) that believes that the government is after the sporting firearms (sniper rifles [30-30 lever scoped]and sniper pistols [Thompson contender scoped])and at the same time he believes that freedom to bear arms means any firearm (any firearm means ANY FIREARM). I don't know when the NRA elections are but I believe that Nugent would really re-work the NRA to what it was meant to be from its inception.

I was just taking a shot. I like most types of music, however, I don't consider cRap music. I grew up with rock. My dad had a friend in the music industry so he was always bringing home the latest records. Nothing like the snap, crackle, pop of vinyl. Eddie |

I love rock, especially classic rock, but I'm not a big fan of the Nuge. However, as a person and a celebrity, I am a huge fan. It's always great to have a big name championing the Second Amendment, and I would love having him as the next president of the NRA.

It was awesome, as you know I suppose. I had not been to Nissan before and had my SOG Paratool on my belt, my Schrade Folder and the Leatherman Micra on my keychain. I left the knife in the truck and they told me I could not have my SOG, so I went back to my truck, back in line then they said I could not have the damn Micra on my key chain!!! Back to the truck again. How ridiculous. But it was worth it, third row behind the pit. |
