Getting married in one month and have not purchased my groomsmen a gift.  Do you guys have any suggestions?  I was thinking about a Browning FTD knife (like the 615)- see www.browning.com/products/catalog/knives/fdt_knives.htm, but I'm open to anything.

Thanx,

Steve

I have in my pocket a very nice gold money clip that I recieved for my troubles from a friend not so long ago. Sounds like you got a pretty good idea though.

About a billion years ago, I gave my groomsmen cigars with bullet style cutters & reproductions of ceremonial Japanese swords.

The lapdances came much later...

Try the handheld bug zapper.  It says it's human-safe, but I've never found anyone who will think about touching it a second time.  Loads of fun.

I got mine the Columbia River KISS folder.  They are very small and practical and not to expensive.  Almost everyone I gave them to still carry them.

Damn, I'm in the same predicament.  I'm getting hitched in less than two months and I don't know what to get my groomsmen either.  I've got 6 of them, and $90 knives are too much for my small wallet.

Now that $7 bug zapper might just be the ticket!  lol

I gave CRKT Mirage knives to my friends. My best man and I recieved the grey ghost, while the other guys got the standard mirage. I emailed about 8 different online knife sellers and told them I wanted to purchase 8 knives, so I was cut(no pun) a pretty good deal. Zippo lighters are also a great idea. Just make sure the best man's gift is just a tad nicer than the rest.

We bought 3 D cell maglight/2 AA mini mag combo packs for the men.
The women got earings.
The maids who were close friends with my wife stated that they would have rather had the maglights, and that the other women felt the same.
We got the packs at Sam's Club a a lower price, which was nice.

Buck makes a small pocket knife that looks good with initials engraved on them. Not too expensive and every one needs a Sunday go to meeting knife. Hell buy them all a brick of .22's and a bottle of crown.  (not to used at the same time of course[:)]

Depends on the crowd, I suppose...

Been in a couple of weddings where the groomsmen received knives.

1.  Received a BEAUTIFUL Tiffany and Co. Swiss Army knife (made by Victorinox).  Sterling silver, I believe.

2.  Received a SwissChamp with my name professionally etched in the side.  Came with a leather sheath, sharpening stone, and MagLite Solitaire.  Own lots of knives, Leatherman tools, etc...but this knife is my favorite.

Carry the latter every day I'm in uniform. First one's in a drawer some place.

Sorry, dmuldrew, but that is clearly not appropriate.  He should try to give the groomsmen something they haven't already gotten before.  [:P]
